First 2011 Corvette model marks 50 years of Chevrolet’s first Le Mans win
The year 2010 marks fifty years of Chevrolet’s class win at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the 1960 Briggs Cunningham Corvette. General Motors has decided to commemorate the occasion by swaddling the very first 2011 Corvette model in the same livery worn by the champion five years ago. Superior Chevrolet, a leading dealership for new Chevrolet vehicles and used cars in Merriam, KS, feels the 2011 Chevrolet Corvette which wears blue stripes and other labels is a true tribute to Chevrolet’s colorful racing history.

The new Corvette packs a few performance tricks from the Chevrolet playbook at the same time. The special-edition 2011 Corvette comprises both the Z06 and CFZ packages with 505 horsepower on tap courtesy of a 7.0-liter aluminum V8 drivetrain. That CFZ package includes fancy wheels and unique side-view mirrors. It features fine carbon fiber bodywork. If the talks in automobile circles are to be believed, Chevrolet is planning to offer the very first and special 2011 Corvette for $85,000 with $300,000 tax-deductible charity donation and manufacturing cost. Contact Superior Chevrolet to learn more on this. Also glance over the brand new Chevrolet models at the dealership and take advantage of Superior Chevrolet’s special offers while driving home your favorite Chevrolet car.
